    Lister D Engine Trolley

Yesterday along with my plough and dump cart I also picked this up, I've been after something like this for a while, I know the proper job should be like them ones you see with two fancy great lengths of wood and cast iron spoked wheels all varnished and painted pretty! well, this is far from that, but its perfect for the job and I'm pleased with it, the blocks of wood its on at the minute are only supported with tool box caster wheels ( wasn't us that did that) and as you can guess they broke! so where it sits now is where its been for a while, at least now i can get it out more! with a bonus, it can be pulled by hand or one of my machines :D I've already given it a quick coat of paint I got some new wood to bolt on the top of the trolley and varnish it all up then sit the engine ontop... all to follow over the next few weeks hopefully!

    C-120 refurb.

Weather turned sunny this afternoon, so out came the paint. Two coats grey primer, two grey undercoat and two of silver. In between coats a spell in the low bake oven. That's where they are now.

    New Plough

I picked up my new plough today, (well new to me) It's not a wheel horse plough nor does it have any makers name/marks but I am hoping to adapt it a little bit and get it onto the back of my wheel horse raider 10. I've been after a plough for a long time now, Hopefully start work after next weekend!

    Bolens 1556 Restoration

My 1556 had the same accident as My H16, apparently someone hit something going fast enough and the object was hard enough to break the Baluster, also missing a collar on the PTO, right now the bottom double pulley moves all over the shaft, no big deal, I'll get that straightened out. I've power washed the entire tractor top to bottom and bottom to top. I'm wondering if any sharp eyes can detect a error in the picture of the tractors left side profile, whats wrong?

Soon to be Cub Cadet Tipping Cart

I also managed to bring back this little tipping trailer today, again I'm not too sure on the make? any input will be greatly appreciated, I've not seen them with the round pole chassis/draw bar thingy ma bob!? it's got lots of surface rust, but nothing many of hours sanding shouldn't sort out, but my plans with this are to paint it all up cub colours and add a few cub decals and pull it behind my cub cadet, I'm not sure weather to keep the solid tyres or change the wheels and tyres for pneumatic ones? Guys?!?!

    Bolens 1556 Restoration

Well I finally started the Bolens 1556 restoration, not like I have it long, maybe a couple months, but it seem like years to me. I still have a Homelite T16H and a CASE 224 in the que, but the 1556 cut in line. I've had the special grey/white mixed in a top of the line tractor/implement paint and plan on using a special reducer and hardener in it on the last coat. Tomorrow I will order the decal set, , I got ta new rubber BRAKE pedal pad yesterday, and my rear taillight came in last week. I have a brand new set of expensive Carlisle Turf tires, just not sure that's the way i want to go, but with me making under 600-800 a month I may have to.

Yes that bend should be there. It's normal for the hydrostatic tube frames.

Not being a Bolens man, but should the left hand side chassis tube be bent?

    Amp Champ generator

Here another Champ that I have added to my collection, its a 12V only version made for the US military. Unusually the engine serial number has been ground off, I don't know if all the ex-military ones were. Since taking the pictures I have removed the incorrectly fitted NGK long-reach spark-plug and fitted a Champion UY6, this isn't the first time I've had a seller fit a new plug of the wrong type just before they shipped it. 2 seat show cruiser

The original was sold at the big Wheel Horse show in Pennsylvania a couple years ago to the president of the WHCC. I kinda miss it so I decided to build another one close to original as I can. Hope to have it done by the end of June so I can take it to the big WH show to see it's older brother. Here's a pic of the progress so far. Got the lowered front axle done, most of the frame welded up, most of the offset steering and the firewall.

    1945 Briggs NR2

The wait is over. Thanks Ian, and I've lost count! I know I'm over 40, but would need to take inventory to know just how many. Alright, here is the video from today, and as expected, it fired right up, and ran great. Just need to get a couple more things, and it will be done. Sorry for how shaky the video is. Youtube can fix the shaky, but then its blurry, so I decided to keep the shake. I'll do better next time. Matt

Thats a great idea! Matt Its still not running as good as I would like, but its running much better than it was. I'm confident that with a bit more tinkering, it will run perfectly. Here is a video. Matt
