  1. I took the bearing seals out to allow oil to get to the needle roller. Just wish I'd had the idea then.
  2. Been having a think, Chris. Could some kind of baffle be fitted behind the roller bearing, to stop needles going into the bearing if the needle roller fails? It would have to have very small holes in to allow oil through, but not big enough for needles to pass through.
  3. You've your work cut out there, Johnathan. If you want a hand now and then, give me a shout.

    C-120 refurb.

The fan guard is silver, so I thought I'd better balance it out. Pleased you approve.
  5. Managed to get off your sick bed to collect them then?
  6. I'm planning to have a run up to one of your rallies this year. Just as a visitor though. Think you'll get this side of the border, George? Be good to see some of you Scots at the Hethersgill rally at Carlisle airport. May 3rd.
  7. I fitted electronic ignition to my Mountfield last year. Not a kit like that and not sure if it would fit a Kohler. So I'm not really much help, except to say I was happy with the result. See my post "B&S 11hp April '14".
  8. Very nice. I'm going to have a good look at that at Newby.
  9. Now where have I seen that before?

Got some more bits painted to day. Governor arm, clutch plate and some small brackets. Also drive pulley. That and clutch assembly just fitted tonight.
  11. And turn up when you've bought/made a replacement.

Thanks. Should have taken a photo of 'em fitted. Never mind flames. Just keep reminding me not to paint anything else black.
  13. You'll need a steering guard now for when you go off road.

Aye! We're in for a few wet days, Richard. Still, I can get on with smaller bits and tin ware. Here's another photo. Just 'cos I like it.
