  1. I see the one in the vid's a pull start. The one I had was electric start.
  2. Looking better all the time. The tractor I mean, not the model. Be good to see it all painted up with lights and maybe some type of front mudguards.
  3. Your going to need a double deck car transporter for Newby.
  4. But think of what you could build with what's left.
  5. You should see it in the flesh metal, Mark. Hats off to who ever did the repair work.
  6. Hey Ian. How about trying that with Why Not.
  7. Not a daft idea. I have a similar thing. Though mines a cage on wheels. About 8ft x 4ft x 2ft. Rescued it from the scrap at where I used to work.
  8. Gotcha! Your going to refit that port. Thought it a bit strange to rely on weight. BTW. Where's the fuel tank located?
  9. I see you only have one hydraulic connection. Am I right in assuming the hydraulics only lift and weight lowers?

    C-120 refurb.

Managed to get a little done today. Trans is now bolted to chassis and wheels back on. Painting will be done at a later date.
  11. I'll have to have a word with eldest daughter. She's an assistant manager at Maplins.

I was going to used Loctite, the orange type or Hylomar but they said they find the Wyns better. Google " Wynns black gasket rtv."

    C-120 refurb.

BTW. I used Wyns black silicon RTV in place of a paper gasket. Recommended to me by the lads who did the case machining.
  14. Just send another ram up with Mark and I'll let you off.

Can't tell you anything about that Ian. Only it is a twin tracker and unfortunately not mine.

    C-120 refurb.

Got the trans all back together today and it all works. Well it does now, after I worked out that some how, a gear and spline was fitted upside down. Next job is to paint it and bolt it to the chassis.
  17. Where I worked we bought a big ultra sonic cleaner. By big I mean very big. Superb piece of kit but to big for us lads. 12 - 14ft long. The solution was water with 10% caustic acid.
  18. Sorry to hear the crank is scrap, Johnathan. Pleased a replacement is on it's way.
