  1. Hi,

I understand you've bee experimenting with 3d printing carb floats.

Care to try one for a Tillotson MD-17A?

      Ron,

I think the float would not be that hard to replicate but do not know about the bracket that operates the valve.  Not sure how this could be attached to the float body.

I will look into this and let you know.

I just looked and have a Amal 343/1 with this float if you think it would do.

      Also looked online at Tecumesh 632019     45mm x 25mm x14mm

      Niel,

Was able to seal the crack in the float, cut a new gasket and put it back together.

Thanks for looking at a this for me.

      Cheers,

  2. Hi, The copper carburetor float on my 1940s Hornet 2 man saw is cracked and beyond repair. Any idea where I could find a replacement float or what diaphragm carburetor would work with this saw? I've searched the net and found nothing. Thanks, Roh
  3. Hi,

Would you have a diaphragm, gasket and ball for sale or know where I can buy them?

    Thanks Ron

      Housing and components unfortunetly.

It took a while but found one. It's been messed with as someone drilled out the original rivet in the center and replaced it with a nut and bolt. Unfortunately that is way to common but replacing the bolt with small pan head and putting the nut on the inside looks pretty close to factory, especially after painting.
