  2. I just noticed that it appears to have a Tecumseh recoil mounted on it....
  3. Those little Kohler k91s are some tough little engines...have picked up a few myself. Just wish rebuild parts weren't SO expensive.
  4. Good way to get under and clean er up .....might have to copy that..
  5. Nice engine Matt!! If I ever make a visit to Texas, I've got to stop-by and check out your collection.....someday Matt...some day.

    Nice collection of Bolens Tractors
  11. Bought one of these in 2003 for a motorcycle battery. same manufacturer and looks (I think the same) . Now its for tractor batteries and works well. . Although I think it also has the 6/12 volt switch on it. still working as of today! I think it will last you steve...
  12. Yes, that little guy is Stanley the dog. I know he looks to be a cat,but I think he's a dog because he follows me around like one...
  13. No it's not a walkout ,but I wish it was. window side of basement has the southern exposer so there's always plenty of light. Fireplace works nice! set it up so it can always be on , or it can operate off of the wall mounted thermostat I installed. one of those big projects thats been close to being finished for a long time. What I like is it can heat the basement to an easy 80F degrees when its -25F outside. Now I just gotta get things down there done!!!
  14. Wasn't sure where to put this post...and it wasn't my idea to invent the fireplace...but it was my idea to build one in my basement. I started building this gas fireplace a few years ago and I've done everything myself so far Including building the room its in. so here are some older pics I found of it somewhat close to being finished. I will show the finished product sometime in the near future when its done.
  15. The chair looks Nice steve! I think you may be one of those "Jacks (or steve) of all trades!!!

  18. Whenever you finish that generator shed Karl I'd love to see pics..
  19. There's a lot of energy stored in superheated water,or just any hot water. I work in a place that has steam presssures up to 1800psi and higher. Its that energy that does the work to keep your lights on at home. (I work in a 600 MW power plant)
  20. Sounds like a good Idea Karl. Are power outages happening more often for you guys out east? Are you going to hard wire this in to the electical load center of your residence? Just curious.
