factory 483 #1 Posted March 18, 2015 Another recent addition to my collection is this Orline Dyna-Mite 300 generator set. Usually the carb top on this late model 13B engine has no primer button, also the fuel tank filler is extended to the top of the frame. factory 483 #3 Posted March 19, 2015 There was a Chicken Power sold last year with a 13B engine that also had no primer button, which I also thought was wrong until I had a look at the manual posted here: http://myoldmachine.com/topic/1452-chicken-power-manual/ , no primer button & no mention of it in the instructions. Perhaps my carb was originally on a Chicken Power, as the other two Dyna-Mite generators I have seen definitely had the primer button. David Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Wallfish 687 #4 Posted March 19, 2015 When the fuel tank is located above the carb, the primer button isn't really necessary so I could see not needing one for a chicken power. Usually those buttonless diaphragm caps are seen on the early engines. Not sure what the deal is with yours but someone could've changed the carb or just the cap. One of the LIFESAVR branded versions of this generator just sold on ePay, sadly missing the pump, but you can see how it would attach, an extra bracket is fitted to the generator housing & the plastic cover removed for fitting the pump to the alternator shaft. Wallfish 687 #6 Posted May 19, 2020 Just guessing the pump was just one of little water pumps with 2 garden hose type connections like the Comet pumps and others used.
