Wacker plate

Recommended Posts

And here it is now that the restoration is almost finished.

It looks in very good condition for it's age

What size is the engine? It looks quite small!

It had been semi restored a few years ago, but stored badly. I believe the engine is about 75 cc two stroke,Ive had the engine fully rebuilt by an ex Wacker employee that I know.

They were  originally a JLO engine that Wacker purchased the rights to.

Still has its original wire rope recoil, can a bit lethal if it kicks back.

The plan is so long as my entry gets accepted to take a small display of classic light plant from the late 1950's to 1980's to tractor world in February.

When I turn my lap top over I can see you have done a fine job :D

They were the right way up when I posted them, must be the iPad, for some reason I never seem to get on with uploading off it.

Nice ,

I owned a JAP ( light metalic blue colour ) whacker around 25 years ago , it took 2 to lift it with a struggle as the base was a cast iron block around 24" x 12" x 3"( opposite way to modern machines ) which was machined out in the front section to act as the silencer , sold it to a lad who wanted the engine to drive the propulsion fan on a hover craft of all things ! .
