rural pastimes 2016 day 2

Recommended Posts

this was a good day for every one to try out other peoples machines young and old had a play and i think it went down well. i would like to thank the SHOWMAN(chris sutten) who organised our section and made it one of the most relaxed and easy going shows of the year  and of course Norm had his new hat on for the ring parade, and was acting very strange, if you look at photo 13 that may of been the reason why :smoke: just joking norm :D

I really enjoyed it today and thanks to Nigel for letting me drive the blue Trojan; a little gem of a tractor for someone with a smaller body mass. :)

Also many thanks to Chris for setting up and organising another splendid day.

Great to meet up with everyone  and good to meet up with Iain after two years emailing each other. Also thanks to Chris for allowing me to drive his Bolens 1886.  A fantastic machine as suspected.

I got a year to start planning a mini Bolens invasion at RPT !

A very good show overall, organized well by Chris. I really enjoyed the day with meeting everybody and I am sure I can bring some along for next year. Thanks to the other Chris for letting me drive the Mg40, another thing to put on the list :D.

Been a really good weekend, despite being to hot and to much traffic. I'm not used to either. Good to put faces to names, Iain and Richard to mention two. I'll make a more detailed report when I get home in a week.

I have just got home after a very long journey back. Well worth the trip and I really enjoyed the day.

it was great to meet everyone from the forum especially people I have not met befor; Norm, Andrew, Nigel, Ian and Paul. I would like to echo what others have said by thanking The Showman for his fantastic work organising our section of the event.

Also thanks to Ian for letting me drive his GT14 around the arena, and to Nigel, Chris and The showman for letting my lad Joseph and I drive machines in the working area.

Iain

Pam looks SHOCKED in the last photo Norm.  Is it because of seeing Nigel in a state of undress, :o  or because he has offered to make the tea. :yankchain:

Both !! :D
