They don't make quality anything any more because there's not enough money in it. It's easier and more profitable to build things cheap and sell as many as they can, then sell you another one every time the cheapo POS breaks down.

I'm not sure how many variations were made with these engines and no one really seems to know. I saw an ad for the XL-HAV Harvester a while back before I was really collecting them and wish I bought it. The harvester used a long remote handle for engine control with a long belt connected. Used to shake nut trees, I believe. Since that application is so specialized, there could be almost anything out there. There are also a few military generator applications and I stumbled across this blower which I had no idea existed until I saw it so I'm sure there are others as well. The hunt is half the fun of collecting!

I just started collecting the old Homelites a few months ago. Do you have anything for sale? I just picked up another blue Super XL Auto and a Super XL-12. I didn't even know they made a Super XL-12

A C-51 with good paint for it's age and I have a second XL-100 circular saw I'd consider letting go.

I might consider the Circular saw depending on price and condition. I have a really nice XL-901 I'd like to sell. I collect auto oilers and am looking for any of the XL-100 series AOs (XL-103, 104, 113, 123 as well as a XL-400 or XL-500. My XL-901 (77cc) is in super condition, has almost of all of the original paint, new carb kit and fuel lines, runs great. Thanks

Finally found the last item I'm aware of for the collection. These Lewis winches were made for Homelite and these blue ones seem to be super rare. It's the same winch as the common orange units but the blue Homelite paint makes it a better fit for the collection.

Just need the small drive belt which the seller forgot to add in the box but is sending. Probably find a nicer power head to switch this on to as well.
