Beast from the East 2

Well the Met Office got it right again regarding the heavy snow here in Devon. The A380 near Exeter is renown for it snow problems due to the steep hills called Telegraph Hill on the A380 and Haldon Hill on the A38. The snow here is around  12" deep in places and the main roads here are driveable but it getting access to those roads that is the problem. Here a few photos of the snow where we live. I am hoping it will disappears by tomorrow.....

We've been lucky down here on the Solway plain, being just on the edge of the bad weather. Except for strong arctic winds. Up on the high ground and in the Lake District, lots of roads and passes have been closed/blocked. A66 as been closed and the North East and Scotland has had plenty. Hopefully this is the last of it. The hill farmers have suffered, being lambing time. Lot of sheep and lambs lost. :(
