  1. I've been informed that the skimmer has been successfully loaded and is on it way to me, unfortunately it was loaded with a telehandler so not sure if it rolls (guessing brake bands are siezed from standing) will get some pictures tomorrow afternoon when it arrives.
  2. I know what you mean, That's just the sides and back.
  3. Well it's down and home. Unfortunately where it is lying is where it's going! Mums going to be chuffed when she hears her washing lines getting shifted. I'm not looking forward to taking this with me when I move out in a few years.
  4. Would that be to top up the water in the boiler?
  5. Bit more done, roof off. hope to get it all away this weekend.
  6. It is, I don't fancy moving it again that's for sure
  7. Well I'm getting there, millions of nails put in with nail gun, managed to save most of the tounge and groove inside and on the roof by punching the nails through, as prying it off just split it. Thankfully the felt was put on with small nails so that came off easy enough and will go back on, about 30 black bags of fibreglass insulation came out of it and countless massive spiders!
  8. Expecting skimmer to be delivered 13th May, looking forward to getting it.
  9. Somehow I need to give everyone a chance so all I can do is suggest making me an offer.
  10. It's a k582 fitted to D180, anybody want to buy it?
  11. Thankfully I have a complete engine to put on it and a fuel tank aswell, the kohler engine apparently did run and the owner drove the skimmer when he baught it at the great Dorset steam fair.
  12. Thanks Normin, I thought he was in the huff with me.....
  13. Recently a chap made contact with me saying he had a Ransomes skimmer chassis and that he had cut off and sold the discharge conveyor and front auger just 3 months ago, he was sure that the guy he sold them to had not done anything with them yet so I asked him to contact him, after a few weeks the parts were returned back to his yard, a deal has been done and hopefully the gearboxes are there just waiting for pictures of them before I commit to anything. To be honest I cant wait to get it and weld it back together !! Apologies Jonathan for hi jacking the thread.
  14. Nope, will fit on the patio at side of house.
  15. Keeping all of them Jonathan, this one will allow me to work on complete machine indoors,
  16. I've never seen such a well built shed, yet to see how it is actually fixed together hopefully screws and no big nails, I know it splits into quite a few sections.
  17. Spotted this on eBay only about 6 miles from me, went to see it and done a deal. It's fully insulated and built superbly, the doors are about 4 inches thick and the guy reckons it is warmer than his cottage! He had it built with a total cost of £6k I paid less than £1k for it, just need to get it to bits, lay a concrete pad and rebuild it! Easy! Shame none of you live closer I could do with a hand! It's going to weigh a lot! 10ft X 16ft, wil take up all the patio
  18. That was the kind of thing a baught when I was younger! Along with the lathe when I was even younger, about 15 I think. (Mill now sits beside it)
  19. Had it since I was about 17 norm, not got any of the cnc gear on it anymore.
  20. Smarter than that Norm.
  21. A fair bit of work Stormin
