Raider 16 4x4 articulated -aka project bendy

Recommended Posts

been busy today

My plan works, but boy is it tight in there, the diff has to go in one way and I have an inch to get the additional bits in.

I've started work on the selector fork and slider, now it's getting tighter. It's a good job I don't need all the gears biggrin.png

Managed another half day today, getting fed up now.... But nearly there, I keep having to bolt it all together to try it then unbolt to do the next bit. It's so tight I'm having to turn the heads down on bolts to give me clearance!

Here's the selector linkage parts.

And together working

Back at work all week, so that's it for a while. Tour de France at the weekend, so might not get much done then either :(

It's looking good Mark... So when are you offering a Diff lock kit? :D

I couldn't afford to do it mate, unless you are prepared to pay big bucks.... It just takes too long

Looking good mark I'm with Ian u need to do a kit for this it would be a instant hit !

In principle yes, the time it takes no :)

With the diff locker finished and the casings painted I got distracted yet again :D

This time with the intent of getting the backend complete and painted I thought I'd make a 3 point hitch.

Here's the build pics, firstly top link and lift arm pivot bracket

Nice work on the 3 point Mark, I'm guessing you got your measurements from your GT by the looks of the parts :D

Spot on Ian, why re-invent the wheel... The GT set up looks good and works, so I copied the whole lot! :D

That's about it, I have been cleaning and painting four wheels - no pics, it's a bit dull.

Gonna be slow progress for a while, got a weekend with my mates in cambridge next week followed by final show of the year at driffield.
