Howard 200

Recommended Posts

A beautiful restoration job there

I did for a very short while (maybe even as little as a week!) have a Howard Gem.. I never had it running, just remember it as a beast of a machine to move about!

Thank you for the compliment.will have to try and find a before shot, its on the computer omewhere. I agree with you a dead gem is a pain to move, but these are much more manageable.

The one thing  I don't like about the howard 200 is it topples over too easy...tried rotavating with mine once it was a very difficult to keep upright on uneven ground. Yours is nice example ...well restored as usual.

I use a Howard 200 on my allotment, admittedly I've had to change the engine as the original Villiers give up the ghost, but it digs lovely.
