4x4forks 258 #1 Posted April 10, 2016 Hi all. I have just picked another Gutbrod 1032 in desperate need of restoration but complete. I have a question for everyone , Can anyone tell me what the leaver on the left side of the transmition dose. It conects to a leaver on the left front side of the PTO housing. The leaver at the front has a form of latch on it and when moves it seems to lock the transmition. The tractor is a non runner at the moment so can,t test it . My lad surgested it was a park brake ??? Can anyone help Please. My current tractor dose not have this fitted.
GAV694 23 #2 Posted April 10, 2016 (edited) 10 out of 10 for your lad, he is correct it is the park brake although I havent ever been into a transmission so I dont know what it actually brakes. Do you have the Gutbrod bug now Duncan? Is it going to be another amazing restoration?
