The Back half of my garage now has 4 howard machines, 5 colwoods,a ransomes 24 with seat and god knows what else. Any case here are some pictures of the days proceedings. steve d 43 #5 Posted April 20, 2014 The monarch was built by oak Tree appliances in Coventry and were later taken over by singer cars,they made a rocrop version as well I believe they made a total of just over 500 tractors in there existence. They have a ford 10 hp industrial engine and mine is a petrol paraffin version, basically it is based on a ford popular. It has live hydraulics and a top speed of about 12mph. I have owned it for about 15 years now and it came from a small holding just outside Eastbourne, si a local one for me. Hope this answers a few of your questions Neil.
