John7 0 #1 Posted October 22 (edited) Hello, New to the forum. I have just acquired a Conyers 1.25 kw generator powered by a 3.5 Briggs & Stratton which has been unused for several years . I cannot get a spark from it. Have done the usual and cleaned the rotor/ magnet, checked the gap & tried a new plug. Voltmeter shows about 1 or 2 volts from the ht lead when i pull the starter.
