very happy today ive had my little atco running after cleaning the points up and washing out petrol tank and cleaning out the petrol tap ,a very nice little runner now to try her on the grass .
thanks paul you have a good time to mate ,me and mr murrell will fly the flag at stone cross on sunday .talking to bob it sounds like there will be a good cross section of exhibts so hopefully the weather will hold out for us.
so if any one is left down here and fancies a day out come and say hello.
Found my boadicea on the bay end of last year Ben on the outskirts of London. Me and Paul mackellow had a very long day as we went to Wales as well to collect his versatiller.
I also forgot to add that im considering having a bbq at my house after the days event and hopefully the legendary tea maker adam d will be in residence.
also nearly forgot stonecross next weekend for anyone in the area who is not going to newby ,if you would like to come to this one please can you drop me a line so I can let the organisers know asap.
I have now got confirmation from the organisers that they would love us to come and support the fun day in Tugwell park,so if any one would like to support on the 21st of June please let me know as soon as possible as I need to say what amount of space is required, will be the first outing out in a very long time for my ota.
There will be a beer tent, live music, and a small fair from what I've been told along with all the usual stalls.
Typical as Paul says they only usually want anything that's horse drawn or victorian and all that will happen will be it ends up at the back of the caves never to be seen again!
I did have hawain toasties if that counts as never saw any pork pies!and I can now understand the pork pie thing as it bloody near killed me trying to steer it.
Well Neil I have the garage here plus there's still stuff at my old house and there's some at my mums. So I've museums all over! Perhaps I could start a chain?
None the less a superb event and my thanks to Jim beacon for all his hard labour's, also to for letting me have a go on the trusty that featured on wartime farm even if it almost killed me trying to drive it.
