  2. I have tried disc but as it was too big I reverted to knife skimmer my winter project is to find or make a smaller disc or make a Scotch skimmer will keep you updated Thanks George S

Hi all The ploughs are as follows Ransome TS42 pulled by MG crawler the wheelhorse has a plough borrowed from a BMB cultmate walk behind My own plough is part of a pair one left hand one right hand They are called a butterfly ploughs but when you are competing you can only use one plough hope this gives you an idea what we use Thanks George S
  4. Hi al this is the last ploughing match of the season there were three of us took part in the horticultural section I came in third there were only 5 points between us and I know where I lost mine But it was a pleasant day out

  8. Hi all I am ready for the Scottish ploughing championships tommorow and Sunday We have been asked to put on a display of horticultural tractors and equipment used with them. This is a first for us Will update with pics of the event George S

  11. Hi Tom I have tried and testet Owatrol oil it is a air dried oil see pics of my Clifford plough George S PS seems dear at first but a little goes a long way the cap of an aerosol can filled painted my Clifford twice

  13. Hi Iain Find out if there is a ploughing match in your area and go along look at what they are doing you can ask questions the settings that apply to the big tractors apply to the small tractors but are more critical Have Fun George S

  21. Hi The toolbar is from a BMB plowmate it came with a set of ridgers that will soon be repaired it was used as a tow behind I took of the towing frame and converted it to lift with my hydraulics it works well Thanks George G
  22. Hi all Gave the grubber a try at our fun day I was surprised that the steering was not affected at all it certanly cleaned out the engine and it was a pleasure to work Next weekend is the start of the ploughing matches Small video on facebook more later
  23. Hi Ian The chanel nearest the tractor is called the toolbar and is copied of an original the grubber is fitted using four pins they can be removed and I can fit on a rake this can be done in less that fifteen minutes will know how it works better on Sunday at our fun day
