Not really a book but a story. In 1970 I was hitch hicking through USA searching the Gravely factory. In a french booklet I've learnt that Gravely was a Studebaker product and this was in South Bend (Indiana). So with my buddy we met the thumb way to South Bend and there we met lovely people who dove us to a small tractors factory: It was the Wheel Horse factory and we visited this plant with pleisure.
Did you understand?
Nice post: I'm fan of the VW Split Bay window and T25 transporter. Myself I have got a T25 in a camper style, named JOker. This is a modeld with air cooled engine that I've rebuilt and modified. I had the opportunity to join english seller sites and I've found very nice people there as in Eurocarb or JustCampers.

Hello
Most of the Gravely tractors are two wheels tractors but they built four wheels tractors. The 400 serie between 1968 and 1972 and the 800, 8000, Pro series between 1972 and 2002, being little evolution of the first one
You can see daughter Mary driving the 814

Hello
Thank you, Squonk, for this nice movie. The tractor is a Custom from the mid 70s and the snow blower or dog eater is named "quare chute" (you understand why) and is from the 50's.
BOth are in a wonderful restoration.
