Hi! I finally found my confirmation email and can contact you regarding possible purchase of a few parts for an O&R drill. I have done a lot of research, read nearly all the posts here, searched ebay, and so far can not find the parts I am looking for to complete my O&R powered drill. Only in reading here did I discover folks that talked about spare parts in any way that promised success. My drill was purchased by me with a heavily damaged magneto coil, and missing carburetor pump assembly. I did solve my coil problem by finding a chainsaw coil that would fit properly on the original coil's small U-frame, but even with access to an entire late model chainsaw graveyard I could find now other carburetor that would fit, and allow the governor to function, not require an adapter, or due to nature of the pulse wave driven pump diaphragm specifics have any confidence the unit would function at it's correct potential. Most modern carbs seem to have a special port to carry the pulse to the primary side of the diaphragm unlike the O&R carbs which as far as I can tell draw the pulse thru porting from the carb throat.
In summary, I would love to buy a complete pump assembly, including needle, and seat (type where seat does double duty to retain pump assembly atop carb.) gaskets, flap valves, and diagram from any member which might be willing. I am retired, and restore everything I lay my hands on from antique stoves, to big antique trucks, to British sports cars, to antique tractors and I do this all personally including machining, welding, fabrication, design, and upgrades.. If the pump assembly, needle, and seat were a little less complex I would simply have made them, but the unknown geometry, and unknown spring tension, unknown port sizes, lack of little hardened arm, correct material for the flap valves, diaphragms, gaskets, and the laser cutter to cut them poses a challenge that would slow down too many other ongoing projects. If you might have these items I would be happy to pay any fair price immediatly.
