I do have the correct gearbox and willing to sell it to you at reasonable cost in order to help you get that car going. I want to help you!

I do not want to sell it if you are not going to actually use it to get that car running because giving up this gearbox disables one my tools, the snowblower. I would prefer to keep if it never gets used on that car and just sits on a shelf because these particular gearboxes are not easy to find.

As far as making an engine mount, do you have the skills and tools to make something like that? Or any other missing parts like the pulley? I can probably help with some of that too if needed but measurements from the car and detailed pictures are

That would be really nice of you. I have the goal of June 2025 (little big mans) to finalize it and these pieces will help me greatly.
Yes, the design of the pulley and the engine support are within my capabilities but if anyone has any suggestions I am interested because I would like to get as close as possible to the original.

Good, it has the key slots in it. A gearbox shaft with or without the keys will fit onto that engine shaft.

The pulley will probably need to be made by a machinist.

Your engine looks to be complete so that's good.  But it will probably need a new carburetor diaphragm to run properly. Maybe David @factory can fix you up with a new diaphragm to get that engine running and tested.

If it needs any parts I can ship them with the gearbox.

super thank you for all this information if you have this gearbox with the centrifugal clutch if I understood correctly I am interested and if in addition I manage to have an improvement for my carburetor that would be great

Thanks for sharing the pics of the car Seb T.

That looks like it's in very nice condition for it's age.

Can you please post a pic of where the engine mounts? Just want to try and verify how the gearbox shaft should fit because there are several types.

I do have an engine with a gearbox that's for a Polaris Power pole snowblower which I believe should work for the car.

thank you for this snowblower info you will tell me if it works well like that I would do the same on the other hand I think that the motor was never mounted on mine I have no fixing as you can see in the photo

No spare gearboxes here, they are quite hard to find, most engines (that aren't part of a tool) seem to have them removed over here, to use in RC applications.

Also I don't actually know the correct engine model/type with gearbox that was fitted to this car, it's not listed in the O&R model index, ideally we would need several identifications to confirm the correct type, I'm not convinced the one I saved pictures of has it's original engine, it's too clean compared with the rest of the car.

The last guy I helped with parts never replied, when I asked about the type/model. :banghead:

Another question I haven't got an answer for, what is hidden on the inside of that pulley? There has to be a reason why it's extended.

my engine doesn't come from my car so I don't have the type of gearbox I need and for the pulley I think it's to drive the flywheel on the drive axle

Not sure If I have just the gearbox reducer. Pretty sure I have an engine with one on it.

Do you already have an engine?

Assume you're from Europe so maybe David @factory might have something to help you

For the pulley, you will have to find one or have one made. That is a part specifically from the car

    OK thanks
I am interested in all cases
    What is your price ?
    Have a good evening
