Just a small update. After fitting the fuel tank and filled full of expensive water ie petrol. The next day I went down and the tank was empty what I was not very happy about. Me and Sam rubbed the tank down and found that the bottom was totally corroded. Me and James tried too weld it but with no joy so I've ordered a new tank for her
This is my latest project what I have gained from a old bloke I know. I spent a couple of nights the past couple of weeks getting it running for him then he said he was selling it so I got it for a really good price. I'm going too take the trip mechanism off and make it hydraulic tipping and restore it
Haha I know what u mean there I think I'm going too do it again but pack it tighter then weld a piece of mesh in too hold it tight then it shunt be able too move at all and should stop the foaming lol
Well ive done my fuel pipe today, most of it is in copper but ive had to do the last bit in rubber due too needing some more fittings. Ive also managed to get some videos took off the exhaust but I think im going to have to redo it and pack it tighter as its blowing bits of material out.
