I worked for UPS for 30, L O N G years. I am familiar with the way to pack items to make the shipping rate cheaper AND make sure the item gets to its destination in one piece. All carriers go by weight AND what they call "Dimensional Weight". If a package is real light weight but big, they charge by the dimensions of the package. So if you can make it smaller, you can pay less to ship it. Just make sure that the items don't scratch against each other. ALSO, make sure that the engine is free of any fuel. Drain it and try to run the engine out of fuel. PACK IT WELL!! If you saw how stuff can be handled within the sort hubs, you would not want to ship anything.
