    Bolens for Sale

Hi selling some of my Bolens mesageme for info
  2. I am looking out for a working stator and modules for my Bolens1254 which is powered by the Wisconsin TRA12D engine. The stator is connected by a single wire. I have listed a photo of the stator for ease of identification. If anyone can help that would be great. Please PM me or leave a response via the post. Thanks Andrew. .
  3. Now i need some new parts to my bolens; -braking (brake pad, brake disc) -clutch (switch off, clutch plate) -snowchains for both front & back -maybe 1 and reversing cogwheel, because the gear will not stay on unless keep with your hand. - -ALL PARTS THAT WORN OFF USYALLY- giv me some adwice from the prices, if ya have one. Thanks. bolens husky 3 speed. (pictures in gallery)
  4. I bought this machine from second hand shop in internet. it cost me 80 €. working, but the engine has been chanced to briggs&stratton 8 hp, and the lawnblades were worn out and cuttened in pieces, also the 3 blade-tables was totally broken. But my father in law fixed them, so now my husky is working fine. Also i put better choke-handle to it, because it were not working, and the footgrill was too tiny and far away for my 6&7 years old boys to ride, so i make some bigger and longer footgrills to it. Now im looking for parts to this machine, Brake is barely working, also (because of that) the gearbox is quite rattling, when changing a gear when brakes are not totally bottomed.. Ou, i also put hand-handle for the brake, because its easier to the boys to work with. Then i must change the oil to the rear of the bolens. the tires are full-rubber in back, and normal air filled tires in front. Has anyone any guide to this model ? how i do the things right ? I can do them by my mind, but if there are some special what not to do, or what must do first, i dont know about things like that. And there are the accumulator under the seat, earlier owner has changed the tiny accu to normal car size accu, now it starts, no matter what! Thanks! i give some pics when i got my camera better... edited some odd words better..

  7. Just thought i would introduce myself to everyone I'm pretty new here but already love this site, I love all old machines especially old ride one and compact tractors. I have started out repairing newer machines and selling on but my real passion is anything old and vintage that needs restoring its a pleasure seeing something old and neglected taken and restored. I have just bought an old bolens which I believe is an 850 I have added a gallery and as you can see not only has some one ripped it to bits and painted it green I have quite a big job on my hands being my first restoration I intend to hopefully take it back as near to original condition as possible there a some parts missing which hopefully I can get hold of in the future.... Any tips and advice will be appreciated and hopefully some of you out there might have a few parts for sale
