neil 524 #3 Posted August 2, 2014 I remember using the ladder cripples when I was an apprentice , I don't think health & safety would like to see them used nowadays .
Stormin 4,458 #4 Posted August 2, 2014 What was their purpose, Neil?
neil 524 #5 Posted August 2, 2014 Norm , Ladder cripples are a kind of bracket that were used as a kind of 1 board scaffold ridged up between two ladders so that you can span a scaffold board between the two ladders . A little dangerous if you are a bit high up , I wouldn't recommend spanning the ladders to far apart
