Lauber1 51 #1 Posted January 28, 2014 here's a few pictures of my 1948 Simplicity model D, and its one row seeding unit. This tractor has a Model N Briggs engine, and by changing the belts to different pulley grooves you got 4 forward speeds, but sadly no reverse. I never have finished the seed hopper which was pretty badly bent, so you will just have to pretend it on there.
Anglo Traction 1,016 #2 Posted January 28, 2014 Does it drop the seed on the surface or is there a Drill Shute ?.
Lauber1 51 #3 Posted January 29, 2014 Yes it has a runner similar to a planet jr type seeder. It fits over an oval shaped tube that comes out of the bottom of the seed chamber. There is a brass plate on the side with a diamond shaped hole that the brushes push the seed across.
