grumps 2 #1 Posted March 15, 2017 Hi everyone. Not been on here for a while. Just getting the mower ready for the the grass cutting season so I thought I would tidy up the wiring behind the dashboard. I`ve downloaded the wiring diagram and sorted out everything bar the A C supply to the headlights, I cant work out the reason for A C for the headlights, must they be connected or can the wire be left doing nothing? meadowfield 1,900 #2 Posted March 16, 2017 the idea of AC for the lights is so when the engine stops the current draw stops. Therefore you can't flatten the battery, you can use the AC terminals or go straight to the battery - its your choice. We always go straight to the battery... meadowfield 1,900 #4 Posted March 20, 2017 I would say no, there should be two circuits if I recall One is DC with an inline rectifier (look for a lump in the wire) the other circuit is AC.
