meadowfield 1,900 #1 Posted February 2, 2014 Here's my Dixon, owned it for 18 years. Imported into France from the US in the late 70's. It was a wreck when I got it, but a lot of tlc saw it do grass cutting duties for 15 years, before this... And then unfortunately this before I got chance to repair it This.... neil 524 #2 Posted February 2, 2014 Did you ever find out how the fire in your Workshop started Mark?
bowtiebutler956 166 #3 Posted February 2, 2014 I'm sorry to see that Mark. My dad sold Dixon, as well as Wheel Horse at his dealership when I was a kid. He only sold them for about a year, because he said they weren't very well built, and they were very slow on paying their dealers for warranty work. However, as a kid, I thought they were great, and they were certainly one of the original pioneers of the zero turn mower. Sorry for your loss. Matt
Stormin 4,458 #4 Posted February 3, 2014 Looks more like a disability scooter than a mower. Cute!
meadowfield 1,900 #5 Posted February 4, 2014 It was good fun, and very productive for mowing. You never cut the same bit twice with one! At one point I could also mow with the twins sitting either side of me it was a big seat. 1 jak3_smith reacted to this
