Alan 1,273 #1 Posted April 1, 2018 I think these alloy rims are from a small Rotavator. If so, anyone know which one. The tire size would be 8" x 1.25 approx. 1" center hole, 5/16" bolt holes at 1.1/8" C/L. One had a hub 2.5" diameter with a 3/4" bore. Looks like this is in two parts with the center screwed in. Not tried unscrewing it to find out yet. Found at John's during the clear out. Now I need to have a clear out too. 1 Anglo Traction reacted to this
Anglo Traction 1,016 #2 Posted April 1, 2018 Imagine they are from a good quality Pedal Car circa 1940s-50s Alan?. I'll do some digging to see what I can turn up about them. Assume British, or American with Imperial dims. I would be interested, but wonder about availability/cost of tyres n tubes?. Be a shame to scrap them. Alan 1,273 #3 Posted April 2, 2018 OOP's. Sorry. That should be 8" x 2.25" not 1.25. Finger trouble. The rims had lugged tires fitted when found Richard. Removed and sent to Darren ( Darmic ) for his project. Just found these photo's.
Anglo Traction 1,016 #4 Posted April 2, 2018 I stand corrected on my assumption then Alan. Still, I'm sure they will be of use on something. Regards. 1 Alan reacted to this
