  1. The one I purchased isn't new, so you know the new one you have in a box I wouldn't use, just the one that's on the pole now. I would also clear paint my pole with por 15 or something better to prolong the life of the pole if I use it for moving snow.
  2. Forgot, the shipping charges were 11.35. If you want to pay for the shipping after you receive the carb, that would be ok with me. It should arrive on April 6 according to the receipt I have. You have the tracking number, if you don't receive it by April 6, let me know.
  3. Wow, looks brand new. The one I purchased doesn't look brand new, but it's not so bad. Wall fish sent me a picture of the outboard motor, I would see about making it one large rc boat. Let me know if you decide to sell it.
  4. You are a wealth of knowledge on ohlsson and rice. I'm hoping the grandson or daughter of rice will post a picture of their grandfather with his car he made. The reason I asked about the snow thrower, was that I just bought one yesterday, and they told me that it comes with attachments. I doubt I will ever be able to get one. I would like to get the outboard.
  5. I used up photo space, can't get a picture of the bracket, but it's shaped like a saucer and s small part of the shaft with what looks like a washer around it, and the center is threaded to screw something in the center with the 5 holes around the bracket got the main support.
  6. The diaphragm is very soft, I think I wasted my time replacing it, but the filter was brittle.
  7. I could have taken a picture of this bracket, and just posted it to find out what it's for, but had to disassemble it like tool time Tim.
  8. Ok, thank you again. I read your rebuild, and since I didn't have that motor lubricant, for now I put the engine back together, and add grease later on.
  9. I thought it was a bracket for another type of tool, and I took it apart to find out what it was, not to take apart the carb. It was just another dumb mistake I made. I saw part of your engine rebuild, but right now I only have the liquid wrench lubricating oil, white lithium grease, and the old marvel oil, and was wondering if I should just leave as is, and reassemble the bracket, or add a little lubricating oil, or white lithium grease. I will look again at you pictures, maybe I will see what you did there,
  10. Thank you for the info, and I hope you get the chance to read my dumb mistake with my engine, and carb.
  11. Shaft picture didn't load, trying again.
  12. Hello. I managed to mess up again by accident. My engine had a bracket connected to the shaft I was unfamiliar with, and by accident, removed the bracket, and carb, they are connected, and it came out easy, but I ended up dropping one needle bearing because I didn't know it was on it. For the carb, enclosed is a picture, of the diaphragm. I took the old one out, but it had an extra paper gasket on top which I didn't notice anyone mention. My engine is type 219. Does that paper gasket go on top of the new diaphragm? Also, enclosed is a picture of the bearings. I have on hand, liquid wrench lubricating oil with cerflon, white lithium grease, and my dad's old can of marvel oil, not sure which decade, but 50's, 60's, or 70's. Should I use anything, or put it back together and leave as is?
  13. Hello mr. Wallfish. Are there any attachments for this tool, other than for just a snow thrower?
  14. Thanks for the info, I will give it a try.
  15. Is there any way I can view the date and time I was on the site, or posted a reply? I can see other users dates and times, but I can only see hours for myself, or just dates,
  16. I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question, but when changing the filter, is there an easy way to separate the 2 metal pieces, or do you have to squeeze the new filter through the hole, and somehow open up the new filter after its pushed through the hole? For now, I'm leaving it out and wait to hear the best way all of you changed it. Taking the old out was easy, most of it was like a powder.
  17. United parcel service Tracking # 1Z0189R80376686899.
  18. My spring looks ok, but I would recommend you getting both, that way you have a spare.
  19. Sorry for the multiple messages, my iPad froze, and I didnt know the messages were sent until I signed out and then signed back in.
  20. Ok. I will mail you the carb, decided to give rice a whole engine. Give me what you want for the carb, shipping costs will be ok. If you want to send me money. I don't know what it's going to cost, can't be too much, I don't even think it weighs more than a pound. I will send you the 2 gaskets also. I don't remember which mounting screws it took, if you need screws to, let me know.
  21. I already did. Interesting, she told me that her grandfather as a teenager, made his own two seater car with an airplane engine and propellor, and rent it out to his friends. I told her about the site and she said she would contact her brother to share a picture of her grandfather with the car.
  22. Picked it up yesterday, I haven't taken it out of the box yet. I was the only interested buyer, and dont believe there was a fifth bidder. I think they just wanted their price and led me to believe there was one so i would buy it quickly, and it worked. I will post pictures. Since it was in an attic, which seems to be the story for these machines, from what I read about when they go up for sale. Those that survived impact, were put away in an attic somewhere.
  23. Good morning. No, it went back up for bid for I think another 6 days, and I bid on it, then there was another bidder at the end of the 2nd auction. The third time was the buy it now option.
  24. Hello again. I apologize, but I recently found a descendent of ohlsson rice engines by accident, who was looking to purchase an engine because they lost what they had some time back from their grandfather. We enjoy what ohlsson and rice made, so I'm giving away the carb, and later on if I get a decent working one, I might give that away to. If I come across another complete carb, I will send it to you.
  25. Picture 2 of carb. If you need more pics to see if you want it or not, let me know.
