Visiting a customer at work today and got chatting about different things like you do and we got talking about old garden tractors and stuff at which point he say "come with me young man I've got some thing that you might be interested in taking on" so off we pop to and old barn and he shows me this a converted (I think) bmb plowmate says he got it from a big old house years ago in a dispersal sale. He said I could take it on on one condition I didn't weigh it in as he wants to downsize his farm. Few more pics
It was Neil's old one and I was expecting it to go for more but I think i paid a fair price in the end. Was good to finally meet him as I'm only down the road in Glastonbury. He's got a very nice and big collection.

Cheers Paul going by the brochure I'd say it's basically the second but with a 11hp engine as it's got a 3 speed transaxle and grill is slightly different but front tyres match what's on there so guessing there original so I'm thinking it maybe abit later than 75 I'm guessing more like 80ish hopefully taking it to my mower man so he can see clutch and belt set up to see which of the 3 belts in his parts file will fit
