  1. Hi All, Almost exactly a year ago i got my first garden tractor, a Wheel Horse Electro 12, fantastic machine! Everyone said they multiply and i'll get another, but I was adamant one was enough and why would i get another? Well its happened, ive bought a 1992 Wheel Horse 312-8. There was a real need for it though Ive lots of mud to shift and my brother is keen to help. Been stood in a barn for four years, half a days work cleaning out the carb and fuel lines, and doing some wiring work and the Magnum 12 purred sweetly Made a front weight quickly. And the following day went straight to work I'm very chuffed with my new toy. cheers, Daniel
  2. Thanks for sharing Ian. May have to make one of those for mine, although it is only a back up welder and has been used so little from new its on the original coil of wire with most of it left. What have you replaced your welder with? My main welder is a big Migatronic.
  3. Hi All, Finished my job early so put the afteernoon to good use. We got the Rotovator out and got the veg patch ready. Self driven and has a 6.5hp Chonda engine. And whilst my wife was wizzing round with that i fitted the cutting deck on my wheel Horse and cut the grass. Although I was a bit lazy and left the AG's and tri-ribs on
  4. Cool! another one. Question is do you drive it when the grandchildren are not looking Like Stormin said, 'Toylander'
  5. Thanks Guys. I made it from plans in a book with all the sizes ready to transfer on to the plywood. Its a half scale. Ian, funny you should mention the V8, I bought the 4 cylinder months ago when it was on special offer thinking it may squeeze under the bonnet, now i realise i could easily fit the V8 model in there, next time mate
  6. Hi All, Not had much time for my other toys recently, not even tested the Wheel Horse charging system i was planning to do just after Christmas! Ive been busy building this: Toy Land Rover series 2 Ive spent most of the day driving round the garden in this awesome weather. Got to test these things you know Top speed of 6 miles per hour, which is actually ample in something like this round the garden It is a large garden Powered by this yeah right working model Haynes engine just for fun and show. Folding windscreen. Working front and rear lights and indicators. Plus a drop down tailgate. Speed controller from crawl to 6 mph, with high and low range. Its a squeeze for an adult, but easily takes 2 children up front. cheers, Daniel
