Man there's a lot of pictures on RS!

Yes, I have a bunch to do to prepare, setting up the alternate communication [x] check!
-
It is now 8:29am, RedSquare goes down at 2:00pm, so 5 1/2 hours.
-
This Saturday, May 16th, RedSquare will be going through a software upgrade. As most of you are aware, MoM and RedSquare are sister sites and share the same physical computer server. While this upgrade will not affect MoM, there may be periods of time where response time is sluggish simply because of the shared environment.
RedSquare members, like what you see here? Please sign up, be glad to have you here as well, but remember this is for ALL machinery, not JUST Wheel Horses
Now for the question you may be thinking... YES, MoM will be upgraded to the same software as well. Originally I wanted MoM to be first because it's smaller than RedSquare, but the forum skin for RedSquare was done before MoM's (which hasn't been updated yet). So after the upgrade pop over there and take a look because when everything is sorted, MoM is next

As a reminder, you can change the skin back to the default forum look by selecting "Change Theme" at the bottom left of any screen and choose Cambridge (or other of your choice)
-
Yeah, me too.... those "box store machine" type.....
-
I hope you all have a "Love"ly day today. I know that this skin is a little over the top, so remember you can set it back to RedPro by clicking the change theme link at the bottom left of each page!
-
Thank you Neil, and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom.

-
Hope you enjoy our Halloween theme, but I know it's not for everyone so if you choose, select the "Change Theme" link at the bottom left of most pages to select the skin you prefer.
Have a safe Halloween! Boo!

Sorry, the link was to US based Tractor Supply Corp which is where I purchased my sweeper.
-
I have this one http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/agri-fabreg%3B-44-in-sweeper-104677299--1 which I purchased last year. It's a heavy unit and the sweeper part is very well made. The basket is on the cheap side and already getting worn. All in all it's working well for me and it makes very quick work when used with a rear discharge mower.

We've passed the 10,000 post mark today! Congratulations MoM!
-
I gave each letter it's own sub-forum, not sure if that's what you had in mind or not. I can remove them if you like.

Here's your area, have fun!

Questions about the forum or it's functioning can never rock the boat. I'm here to help you take full advantage of the forum and if something isn't working help get it resolved or understood.
We use a purchased software which is highly customizable, BUT there aren't any options to alert members when their attachment space is reaching capacity, I wished that there would be it would certainly resolve some frustration.
With the addition of the Gallery however, it will be easier to see when members approach the 40 picture limitation.
Again, no rocking the boat, we do our best to insure that the forum is highly available whether or not you're a supporter. For more information on the supporter program see here
-
Included with the free membership is 16MB of attachment space (usually pictures) also just added a gallery where you can post even more (1 album with 40 pictures no size limit) Once you've exceeded the standard 16MB you can certainly post pictures to your gallery and share them in posts. If you fill up that, then becoming a supporter will remove the 16MB limit and allow 2 galleries of 50 images each.
The reason for this is we're on a paid hosting plan. Pictures take up space and resources, which is why we remove the limit for the supporters. Honestly, with the addition of the gallery, there should be plenty of space to host pictures here for the free accounts, but becoming a supporter is appreciated as well.
Please let me know if this answers your question, as I have heard mention of this before, I want to insure that the free accounts are quite robust with the picture storage.
Also - occasionally I run a utility to reduce the size of the images which have been uploaded on the system to help members stay within the 16MB member limit. I ran this today, so you may have a few more to post.

It's always nice to meet up with a fellow forum member, but it's really special when they live half way around the globe. Neil took a holiday to the U.S. and we were able to meet up at the Annual Wheel Horse Collectors Club Show. The time flew by and Neil was sort of like a celebrity because of how far he came. He's a great man, and Carolyn is a wonderful woman as well. We had some great conversation and my daughter Megan REALLY liked learning from a U.K. perspective things like food, people and of course Dr. Who! (long story, we only receive ONE channel from U.K and that is BBC America so our choices in shows are greatly restricted).
Anyway, it was really great to meet him, and not just because of the distance!
Thanks for visiting us here Neil!
