bubbalove 54 #1 Posted August 5, 2015 has any of you lads ever thought of or done a set of powered disc harrows as some of you no ive had a pond/lake put on my land my problem is now the rest of the land is very hard clay mixed with top soil and the rotorvator just wont touch it i was just wondering if anyone had ever thought of or actualy made a set of powered harrows ??? OldBuzzard 186 #3 Posted August 6, 2015 There are rotorvators and then there are rotorvators :D Some rotorvators like the Bolens 'square back' models are very heavy duty and capable of working virgin ground. Others like their 'round back' model are light duty and only designed for previously worked ground. If yours is a 'light duty' one, maybe you should consider using a plough to break the ground first, and then follow up with the rotorvator after the plough has done the 'heavy work'. 1 Triumph66 reacted to this Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
