CNew 404 #1 Posted April 16, 2020 Never seen one of these Kenco pumps in the green. Looks like a Type 133 military engine, unless someone used a Type 133 to replace the original engine on the pump. It looks like it could be original paint but it’s dirty and hard to tell for sure. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-r-engines-kenco-water-pump-134767088

CNew 404 #3 Posted April 16, 2020 No, just came across the photo and it made me wonder if one of the military applications was a water pump. You never see the Type 133 in the actual application. I know there has been mention of them being used in target drones as well, who knows...
factory 487 #4 Posted April 16, 2020 (edited) It's all pure speculation unless you have pictures showing both the engine type & the model number (61MX3 ?) on the pump and several examples turn up to prove it's not been re-painted. The three rather low-res pictures could be from many years ago, worthlesspoint harvests information from ePay listings, but usually only a couple of the pictures. The muffler certainly doesn't look correct for military use. As for the drone mention that is complete nonsense, people got confused with the large 4 cylinder McCulloch engine re-used in the early Bensen B-8M Gyrocopter (which can have an O&R engine used for the pre-rotator mechanism only). McCulloch made the drone engines. David Edited April 16, 2020 by factory 1 CNew reacted to this
