Ian 2,417 #1 Posted May 17, 2014 Evening all, this trans came my way this morning traded for some Wh parts.. I have no idea what it is from but thought it might be handy for use in the future I thought it might be the same as Mark's Toro trans he picked up a little while ago, but looking at it now I'm not so sure.. Sorry for the naff photo's, the camera was working fine, it was me that was a bit blurry after a late afternoon snooze!

Ian 2,417 #4 Posted July 10, 2014 Digging this thread up as Nigel and I spent a good few hours this afternoon trying to work out this strange trans.. It's a Peerless 2300 series that came from a machine with the engine mounted to one side or it it from a rear steer machine.. Has anyone any idea what this trans is from? Both Nigel and I would love to know 1 nigel reacted to this
Dibnah 19 #5 Posted July 12, 2014 Im thinking its mower transmission- possibly from an early Wolsey mower - take a look at the Wolsey thread and compare by ignoring the hydro unit.
