1. Walking to school with dozens of other non obese kids,No school run! 2. Schools still having playing fields & games lessons & not 'Politically Incorrect' to have kids using them to keep fit and indulge in the heinous crime of competition. 3. Teachers throwing 'Board' rubbers at you for not paying attention. 4. Helping Dad feed the pigs and showing our Wessex Saddlebacks,at 7-8 years of age 5. Watching my Grandad working ( Vet ) 6. Playing around the farmyard on newly built strawstacks and nearly cutting my finger off in a 'Mangle' chopping machine. 7. 'Twizzle' & 'Torchy' on the telly after school. 8. .Bathtime Sunday, then 'Sunday Night at the London Paladium' with Bruce Forsythe on the telly ( b&w ) 9. British motorbikes leading the world, Paying £10.00 for an AJS 650 CSR with 9 months mot ! Insurance around £6.00,road tax £1.50 I think 10 .Local bobbies who would give you a clip around the ear,which saved them the paperwork of 'nicking' you.
