Hi Paul,, I know m8, I already regret selling my Unihorse,(which was my first restoration), however I may need the room for another project,
Its not that they must sell, Im more than happy to keep them, n if the price doesn't suit me then believe me they wont go anywhere, I enjoy too much taking these wee machines around the shows cos they attract sooooo much attention n the we fella loves that!!!!
New project on the horizon coming up and to fund it I MAY need to sell my 3 ones at present, All currently in working and running order, Offers kindly appreciated !!! prefer to offer to you guys first b4 the other sites,,, if they go they go,, if not - I keep them!!!
PM me if interested, delivery can be arranged by mutual agreement for fuel costs
Looking good JP,, let me know how you get on with the diagrams etc,, Im looking for some for mine, Have you got a mower deck for her - or are you just keeping her as is??
hi all does anyone know the whereabouts of a villiers 2stoke midget engine which may be available???
The guy I picked my Merlin up from today showed me an old Villiers engine driving a water pump, he said it does run but wasn't my thing so declined, if you like I can pass you his e-mail and you can contact him - I believe he will be putting it on that auction site in the near future???
he is just off the A1 at Richmond, North Yorkshire
I own 2 merlins, one of which is the 2nd machine to be built
My mate kev, MerlinKeeper on here has 3 if I remember corectly
Greedy arnt we
Hi Chris,, been txtn Kev today with the info so as to update the records, only 2 previous owners, person I got it from has owned it since approx. '74,,,,,, Ive also got original owners and operators manual that came with it,,,
Charlie, have you still got cutting deck,, mines I think looks well n truly shot, covered in holes everywhere,, where bouts in W.sussex are you and how much are we talking bud!!!!!
ah your a star!!! could you poss recheck the hole diameter though for me,, the engine shaft is 1 1/2", the handle bore that you have put up looks to be smaller, any chance of confirming it for me!!
Brilliant m8,, thanks, I know its a 1.5" diameter shaft,, I believe that there are handles out there that you can change the pin on to accommodate direction of rotation!!!!!!
Let me know if you find one m8, and any reimbursement that may be due!!
It was running few years back, unfortunately they've also lost the starting handle!! anyone got a spare??? but hopefully after I get Lawn Ranger done I will get started on this,, (unless a tempting offer comes along) lol
Here is what I collected this morning!!! I have owned it for many many years but it has been on loan to a local museum to which I found out it had been left outside for a long time, so I went and took it back!!!!
