with Honda carbs, two little tricks that I picked up over the years to stop the carb flooding is to take the float needle
out, give it a spray in carb cleaner and then wipe the seat of the needle back and fourth a few times with some coarse
rag, similar to terry nappies material. Also try refitting the carb bowl and tightening it up with the fuel turned on and running
out. Don't know why but particularly the last thing seems to work well?

If you fancy bringing it to Newbury on 8th/9th October ( Tractor World ) we could have it as a project on the stand and get it going for you .

Sounds like you are a busy chap. I wonder if there are any other owners going to the show who would fancy working on it with me ? Pretty sure that Neil will have plug, points, condenser and carb jets for us to use if needed.
