neil 524 #1 Posted August 15, 2014 http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_BSA_motorcycles A truly magnificent piece of British motorcycle engineering. As a kid I would often be taken to the local gravel pit with my dad & ride all over the huge mountains of excavated gravel . We used to ride. Grandfathers old BSA bantem , I'm not too sure which model it was but I do know it had a single rigid seat. It was great fun but sadly my dad sold the bike way back in the late 60,s . I wished we still had that bike now . I often take a look at some of the wonderful old brochures that were made for motorcycles back then . 1 Triumph66 reacted to this

pmackellow 2,738 #4 Posted August 15, 2014 Ahh, BSA motorcycles... When me and me dad were into bikes, he had a B31 and I had Bantams, a D3, a D5 in bits and a trials spec special based on a D14/4... I also had a Bantam Cub which was basically a D7 Bantam with tiger cub running gear. All bikes now long gone, dads also gone now 3 and a half years ago, good memories though... Stormin 4,458 #5 Posted August 15, 2014 I had a Super Rocket just the same as that one in the brochure. Also a C11G, C12, Bantam Bushman and 441 Shooting Star.
sten 84 #6 Posted August 15, 2014 I have a 64 BSA Beagle, 70cc 4 stroke, needs restoring but I had it running a few years ago. These bikes were rubbish really and probably helped in the demise of BSA.
