OldBuzzard 186 #1 Posted March 15, 2015 It came in a BIG envelope that measures 13.75" x 18". Inside that was yet another envelope that has a Bolens Parts Number sticker on it. Inside THAT envelope was an OEM set of the Bolens Bi-Centennial Decals. Now I know that they wouldn't be of use for you UK blokes, but for us in the colonies, it's quite a find. 3 Triumph66, nigel and slf-uk reacted to this
slf-uk 914 #2 Posted March 16, 2015 Wow, that's a great find and fantastic condition given the age. Iain
Anglo Traction 1,016 #3 Posted March 16, 2015 Nice find, I remember the celebration year where most of the US Airline Carriers that flew into London Gatwick Airport had restyled their Aircraft Logo graphics to commemorate the bicentenery. Are you planning to keep the decals as they are (unused) as a collector item?.
OldBuzzard 186 #4 Posted March 16, 2015 I think I'll be keeping them as they are. There is a fella here un the States that had a batch of them reproduced, so if/when I get a 1976 model, I'll most likely get a set from him. 1 Triumph66 reacted to this
Triumph66 1,256 #5 Posted March 16, 2015 That's a great find. Well done. I have seen the Cub Cadet 76 model all decked out in the Bi Centennial colours; most eye catching!
