What's this from? Steering box head scratching!

First things first, a big thank you to Chris for sending me this steering box for use on Why Not.. Thanks mate :thumbs:

 

The question is.. What's it from? Both Chris an I have no idea!

From my research this make of steering box were used in Austin A35's, a few MG's and a Morgan...

 

But what's really throwing me out is the double lever arm!!   I've never seen one of those before!

Found this about 7 posts down on an Austin A30 A35 owners forum, so it must be of that origin. I have no idea why it has that double pitman arm thing going on though?? :dunno:

Thanks Max, yep A30/A35 it is :thumbs:

The Pitman arm confused me for a long while. It looks like two track rod ends connect to them, the right side is a short one, the left goes right behind the engine all the way to the other side..
