HeadExam 1,783 #1 Posted September 6, 2016 We received a new addition to the herd the other day. Mom's been hiding her for a day or so, but today she brought her up to the fence to show off. Were expecting three more very soon. 2 Stormin and Triumph66 reacted to this

HeadExam 1,783 #3 Posted September 6, 2016 The new born is a Brangus, Brahma/Angus mix. These are very popular around here for their size, quality of meat, and durability. The red one is a Red polled, but bred by Angus bull, she usually drops a brindle calf 1 Triumph66 reacted to this

Triumph66 1,256 #9 Posted September 6, 2016 I ate ribeye steak a few weekends ago in Dorset. Delicious! Very rarely eat steak; last time I ate it was about 4 years ago at the same pub to the day!

HeadExam 1,783 #11 Posted September 6, 2016 We almost never eat out, never for steak. Not enough coin for that. We do on occasion buy a good cut of meat and I cook it on the grille using Hickory charcoal, sometimes Mesquite wood as well. I have never had a restaurant compare to the quality of meat we buy locally, or one that knows how to cook a darn piece of meat properly
