expeatfarmer 591 #3 Posted April 29, 2017 Hi Joe I assume you mean the actual rollers in the rim of the wheel, the only way to do this is to tap each one severely with a hammer. They are not meant to be lubricated and fill up with soil and rust they are hardened so you will not damage them.
Rocboni 257 #4 Posted April 29, 2017 Tap each one severely with hammer, Keep the wheel on its side, clamp tightly with some vice grips and single them back and forward, some will only move slightly p, you just hav to perceiver.

joegrgraham 30 #6 Posted April 29, 2017 Is it worth splitting the two halves of the rim, and dealing with the rollers individually? Maybe pressing the rollers apart?
Rocboni 257 #7 Posted April 29, 2017 I don't think you will benifit from doing this as you wont get in with anything to be able to press the sleeves off.
joegrgraham 30 #8 Posted April 30, 2017 Update : I decided that this would be a good opportunity to experiment with electrolysis. I do not know what sort of unholy witchcraft is happening in that bucket, but several rollers are already free, with NO effort on my part and expenditure to the ruinous sum of 65p for soda crystals!. I think this is the future....... 3 Cub Cadet, Rocboni and expeatfarmer reacted to this
