Hesket New Market Agricultural Show.

   Had a good day and the weather was kind. Mainly an agricultural show as the title says, but a lot going on. Cattle, sheep, horses, craft, children's competitions and a round of champion Cumberland wrestling. Plus stalls etc. Something for everyone, but it would have been nice to see more vintage entries.

A couple of horse draw pieces of equipment. The chaps who own these, also have quite a large collection of horse draw agricultural equipment.

This crawler created quite a lot of interest. Fergie engine mated to an American crawler, (Jonathan knows the make) done by some company in Perthshire.

 

 

Some very nice motorcycles.

Good photos. Nice lineup of Ransomes, not a common sight to see two ITW machines.

As for the crawler conversion, that's the running gear and frame from a Cletrac HG, it would have originally had a Hercules petrol engine. The Fergie engine would be a good mate size wise for the Cleatrac.

I enjoyed the show and company Norman thanks for coming. Managed to load the barge by pulling broken throttle cable in my hand. Just found the wheels this morning thank you do I owe you?

Lovely rural views of Cumbria and look like a good local show too.
