Potash123 26 #1 Posted April 11, 2019 Not very old at all this mower, yesterday cut a large lawn for someone ( first cut ) . After a couple of quick tea breaks it was an absolute pig to start. The plug was very sooty when I got home and the air filter is spotless, Champion plug. Was using premium petrol as it was all that I had. Any tips please. mattblack 76 #2 Posted April 12, 2019 Mixture too rich (adjustment)? Choke sticking partially closed? Dirt in carb stopping float needle shutting fully? 1 Triumph66 reacted to this
Stormin 4,458 #3 Posted April 14, 2019 Just a thought. Has it always been ok before? If the engine is meant to use unleaded, maybe the leaded fuel?
Potash123 26 #4 Posted April 16, 2019 It is one of those newish Macallister mowers, cleaned carb out. Was ok before ? Only about 18 months old.
