Ian 2,417 #1 Posted April 9, 2014 Morning all, I'm selling this engine for my friend Pete. It's a Alco Feather Weight. engine no 957. I can't tell you much about it other than Pete has had it for many many years and it was last started about 20 years ago! Pete thinks this engine was used as a generator engine in a Lancaster Bomber! What you see is what you get, the engine does turn over on the handle and should start again with a little tinkering.. PM me if your interested.. Collection from Hawkhurst, Kent

Ian 2,417 #3 Posted April 9, 2014 It is quite a neat little thing. I like all the brass fittings on it. Maybe not quite powerful enough to drive a WH though
Stormin 4,458 #4 Posted April 9, 2014 Rather interesting carb' arrangement. They were designed as a lightweight charging set during WW2. Used for charging plane, truck, boat etc.batteries. Google Alco Lightweight engine.
