Ian 2,417 #26 Posted July 30, 2014 they aren't hanging around on harvest this year! Your right Mark.. This was the view yesterday morning.. The buzzards seem to like it though, the harvest makes for easy pickings
meadowfield 1,900 #27 Posted July 30, 2014 this passed me yesterday right outside work - oddly I had driven past it parked outside Ernest Does for 6 months. Looks like it has a buyer! only a 13 litre in this, the flagship Case harvester, but a healthy 570hp

Ian 2,417 #30 Posted August 12, 2014 That's a big beast Harvesting all done and dusted here, the fields were even reseeded at the weekend! They don't hang about these farmers
Wristpin 400 #31 Posted August 12, 2014 The two 770s in my earlier post achieved 1040 tons in a not very long day, before than ran out of fit crop. On a good day the five old Masseys and the Viking would just manage 100 tons. That's progress!

sniffer 0 #35 Posted September 16, 2014 Ian, Thanks for the reply I use to watch two Claas combines working many years ago on a farm in Appledore, got to know the owner and combine drivers and was also allowed to travel in the cabs during harvest. Perhaps this is the same place. Has anyone got other photos/video's of new Claas combines in the area especially the 780's. Cheers Steve
