    a patterson

Was out and about with the kids today at knockhatch adventure park and found this which I believe is a Patterson tractor, it's such a shame when you see rare tractors like these dumped.
  4. Our line up did look good yesterday mate and really like the ladybird.
  5. Hi Jon and welcome from me to very nice tractors these, good luck with all the hard work looking forward to seeing more.
  6. Here are some pictures of my latest acquisition s to join my collection another British anzani motor Hoe and a very nice little 12'atco circa 1960. Both came back from sunny Hampshire today where myself and Paul mackellow attended the bill targett memorial rally.
  7. The Sussex brother's as we are all known!
  8. Thaught I would share my ransomes with you all. I was lucky enough to have this one donated to my collection from a good friend. It is an electric start model, the starter is interesting as it starts the machine via a belt. The engine is Villiers, and one of the last from the Norton Villiers, bsa range a very good engine for its time.
  9. The colwood hornet was the smallest of the colwood range and very rarely seen these days and I only have two on the register! This one belonged to the great pat pettet. Hopefully I have the chance to exhibit it this year and quite possibly with the colwood model Ra that's joined my collection but that's another story, still I thaught I would share some pictures of this rare little machine, and might I say heavy as well.
  10. Hi charioux So nice to hear appreciaton of the Mountfield these particular machines of the seventies /eighties bring back many memories for me of when my father still had his horticultural engineering business.A very sturdy machine! And I still feel it's these type of machines that are disappearing fast, and how often do you see these classic British machines on the rally field. And I'm a firm believer on seeing more from these periods.
  11. Another tidy line up Paul of something a little different from thee and me eh mate!
  12. Great pics there Paul and nice to see another monarch.and a great display from Jim and Mel.
  13. And thankyou to Paul and Wendy for picking up my old trailer ready for restoration also for the baby sitting.
  14. Thaught I'd share a couple of pictures of my Mountfield m4 and boadicea after mowing the lawns at my old house I have just recently got the Mountfield going and it runs like a dream and the boadicea is one of my favourites in my collection and again runs like a dream.

  16. And when Paul says it's on my doorstep it literally is! Just waiting for some more details at the moment but I will. Keep you posted.Another local event here in Eastbourne is a nice little event at stone cross nurseries on the 8th June so let me know if you would like to come.
  17. Good on yer mate hope things are going well for you now.
  18. The monarch was built by oak Tree appliances in Coventry and were later taken over by singer cars, they made a rocrop version as well I believe they made a total of just over 500 tractors in there existence. They have a ford 10 hp industrial engine and mine is a petrol paraffin version, basically it is based on a ford popular. It has live hydraulics and a top speed of about 12mph. I have owned it for about 15 years now and it came from a small holding just outside Eastbourne, si a local one for me. Hope this answers a few of your questions Neil.
  19. A good job at your end to Mr mack the boadicea will look good with mine.
