  1. I got one of those cheap HF maintainers and put it on my Power King. The first time I went to start it after that I thought the motor was going to come out of the frame it was cranking so fast!
  2. I have a 1/2" B&D version like that with 2 handles on it. got it for 10 bucks and it needed brushes. I bored holes in the timbers in my basement to run new circuits with it. I put a 2 foot long "nail eater" bit in it. I was laying in a crawl space laying on my back and drilling up and it lifted me off the ground. I cut a 1/2" extension bar off and used the drill and socket to start an old Gravely rope start convertible!
  3. I thought a Cresent wrench was a hammer!
  4. The 73 was completely original except the gas, oil, belts air filter and seat. He had every receipt and gave them all to me. 2 fuel pump kits were installed at some point but the tractor was basically untouched. He gave me a brand new spark plug for it and took out the original when I paid for it. It was 39 yrs. old and he wanted to keep it as a momento! I picked red for Marvin to go along with the paint scheme. The Power King loader was built by copying Engineered Products drawings and the bucket is a scoop/hybrid. The Jim Dandy's are a tad smaller than the PK's. They are way cool for mowing and FAST! A friend of mine had one but he sold it like he sells everything else. Moss grows on nothing at his house.
